Production Operator

The production Operator is responsible for performing production work in accordance with quality and quantity standards. Production Operators will need to be flexible, working in multiple areas of production, often multiple areas during one shift. Candidates must have a proven track record of good attendance, and be able to work along side others with a humble and helpful attitude.

Responsibilities :
- Checking for quality defects and imperfections in finished products
- Coiling, stacking and packaging finished products on pallets
- Labeling products with proper labels according to specs
- Running basic end-line machinery, including coilers, wrappers and grinders
- Reporting any product defects or line malfunctions to the Production Lead, Supervisor or Quality Inspector
Qualifications
Education:

- High School education preferred
Experience:
-
- 1 year experience in a production setting; plastics extrusion or inection molding experience preferred
Licenses/Certificates:

- Not required
Technology/Training:
- Ability to read computer screens on occasion, and understand basic mathematical functions necessary
Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to work in an atmosphere that is loud; temperatures vary depending on time of year (Winters can be chilly, summers get extremely hot due to the machinery); must be able to perform at high levels for periods of up to 12 hours at a time.
